Update update

4. Housemate

10 cards for only 1 dollar. One, two, three, four..."

I don't want you to say thanks, I want you to buy.

Kundasang, Sabah

I am here again, Kundasang

2 years ago I was here with my coursemates and I knew my family will love this place as much as I did. So now they are here to see this God's masterpiece - Mount Kinabalu

Kundasang is about 2 hours drive from Kota Kinabalu International Airport. Along the way to Kundasang, I realized that I missed a lot of beautiful sceneries last time because I came here at night. The driver dropped us at the roadside to take pictures of Mt Kinabalu when the thick clouds gave ways to the peak of the mountain. The view is truly breathtaking and we took much photos at the same place @.@ Haha

See the uneven curve of the mountain top? That's the peak of Mt Kinabalu. Therefore it is easily spotted from different places in Kundasang. Aunt, grandma, mummy and daddy are my travel mates this time. Jomeng is not here because he can't take a leave off work.

Soon, we checked in to Kinabalu Pine Resort. It is located 15 mins drive from Kinabalu Park and all the chalets which are surrounded by tall pine trees and have a great view of Mount Kinabalu. We just relaxed ourselves and walked around on the first day while enjoying the cool breeze.

Spectacular view from the balcony. Can't wait to take in super fresh air in the morning while peninsular is suffering haze problem recently. The sky at Sabah turns bright around 6am everyday and I noticed that there are more stars in the sky at night compared to peninsular Malaysia.

Poring Hot Spring, Kundasang

Get yourself a hot sulphur spring bath at Poring. The hot water of the spring is piped into open aired baths. This place was first developed b the Japanese during World War II. You can control the water temperature by adjusting the volume of cold and hot water taps. I didn't get in the bathtub as I think it is not very clean ( a bit germaphobia). So I just sat aside and watched my family soaked into hot spring.

Canopy walk is much preferable. There are total 5 suspension bridges and it was quite exciting especially it shakes when you walk along. Haha. Each suspension bridge can only support 6 person but not very high, likely 8 floors from the ground. If you want to experience an easy and not tiring jungle trekking, canopy walk is recommended.

Thats all for today. There are still a lot of stories from Sabah but I am too lazy now. I haven't pack my luggage for Cambodia tomorrow. Ahh..lazy to move. Actually I am not well prepared for Cambodia trip. I don't have a timetable. I just wanna see Angkor Archaeological Park. So, I just tell my mum it's going to be a relaxing trip. Haha lame excuse.

Oh friends, I found a job already. Starting on the next day after I come back from Siem Reap. Hopefully I can cope with that. Anyway, I will still play to the max during the trip! Chao!

Neh~

Degree. Full stop

Class cancelled...

This is how i end my very last class of my degree life.

Yeah. 4 years degree in UPM has finally comes to an end. I still remember my first day stepped in to this beautiful campus accompanied by my worried parents. I was nervous and excited at the same time.

All of those like happened in a blink of eyes. Year 1, year 2, year 3 and now final year. I can say that i adapted well in Upm. Life in the campus is very different with the one back in hometown.

I am used to the people here. I am used to stick around with my buddies here. I am used to the environment here. I am used to......i am used to......so much other things.

Now, I feel really hard to leave every thing here. But this is life. Life moves on. And this will become a part of my memories. I believe that no matter 3 years, 10 years or 20 years, when i look back to my uni life, i'll have a warm feeling in my heart. All these memories me and my friends created will not fade.

Upm, you see me grow, you see me change.
You gave me a platform to change to a better person.
I learned, i gained and i want to thank you never end.

Mid Valley TGIF

Serumpun Sanggar UPM

Man VS Bugs @ Bangkok

LOOK AT THESE !!!! Do you like them?? Or can you accept eating them??

I've been to Thailand for a few times but it was my first time I made up my mind to try these fried bugs. Dew, Apollo and I passed by this stall when we were in Chatuchak Market. We hesitated for a while whether to try or not to. And the final decision -> WHY NOT because it costs only 20THB (RM2) for a packet of mix bugs.

We must always try new things right? We have to mix into locals like eating bugs as our snacks instead of Twisties and Mamee. Haha. Before this, my dad told me that fried grasshopper is the nicest one among all.

OK, let me introduce before I tell you what I feel after eating them. You HAVE TO know them before eating them :)

Upper Left : Tak Ga Tan (grasshopper)
Upper Right : Non Mai (wood worm)
Bottom Left : Jing Leed (cricket)
Middle : Non Pai (bamboo worm)
Bottom right same as upper right.

Apollo's first ever bug. ( Don't get fooled by this picture as she's just PRETENDING that she's afraid. Haha. She LOVES IT VERY MUCH actually!! She finished up the rest of the bugs and even brought a box back to Msia)
And my grasshopper.
Food review :
Some black sauce was added to bring up the taste. I prefer bugs with sauce. They were crispy and a little salty.
I've tried all EXCEPT Non Mai ( fat little wood worm) because Dew told me that they are JUICY (slightly fatter than others) and not dry enough. The word 'Juicy' scared me off.

Cricket got the 1st place.
Grasshopper the first runner up.
Bamboo worm the second runner up.

That's the end of  A Bug's Life...
